There have been a lot of complaints reaching the USFDA regarding adverse reactions to beauty products that have been flooding the market form all over the world containing banned substances that have been determined to have side effects in other developed countries. Adding to that, there are also a lot of fake products on the market that have can and do have harmful ingredients that are not checked and verified by the USFDA and USDHHS. Public outcry has had the federal government initiate steps regarding such products for health and beauty products have normally been out of the realm of the said agencies. With several health related problems due to side effects, use and purchase of said products are discouraged if the source cannot be verified and that the ingredients are approved to be safe for use by humans. Cosmetics and other products have been found to contain unsafe chemicals in some tests and there are steps being taken to look into some of these health jeopardizing products in the near future.
